Direct Gas (Chesterfield) Ltd provide free quotations for boiler installations and plumbing work. However, if an Engineer attends a property at the customer's request to diagnose a fault and the customer opts not to have the work carried out or, if the Engineer finds a third party is responsible for the fault and advises the customer of this fact, an investigative fee between £30 and £50 (plus vat at the current rate) will be implemented.
